High Performance Pontiac Review

This is a great magazine that has a wealth of information for any muscle car fanatic, particularly the GM A bodies. What you'll find below is a typical how-to article on putting a 200-4R 4 speed automatic in a late-sixties GTO. Back issues (Part I was in the April 1998 issue; Part II is from the June 1998 issue) can be had by writing HPP, Dept. BI, 299 Market St., Saddle Brook, NJ 07663.

Because each page is too large to display on screen over the Internet, they are available for downloading as gif images, from my ftp site. From a Macintosh, just clicking on the link should download the file. On a PC, right-click on the file and select "save link as...", then indicate the folder you wish to save the file in. If you don't have an image-editing program, you should be able to open the files in your browser. The first page is available as a Microsoft Word page. If you find that more helpful, let me know.

Images will print okay, but are a compromise between size and quality. Scans were done in black and white, which makes pictures pretty rough. If you need a lot better, buy the back issue!
